Welcome back FaM! ❤️ #FaMLoVE Today, OmarGoshTV, our friend Zane, and I are exploring a REAL ghost town hidden deep in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee! 👻🏚️ And this time, we’re bringing you along for the ENTIRE exploration completely UNCUT and UNEDITED! No fancy edits, no skipping around, and no cutting out parts of the adventure. You’re getting to experience this place right alongside us! We’re exploring Elkmont, Tennessee, a historic community with a fascinating past. Back in 1908, Elkmont became a logging town built around the Little River Lumber Company and its railroad. By 1918, more than 1,500 people lived here! The town had homes, a school, a church, a company store, and other businesses. But when the logging industry moved on, Elkmont’s story changed. The area later became a popular vacation retreat, with private clubs, hotels, and cabins tucked away in the Smoky Mountains. After Great Smoky Mountains National Park was established in 1934, the community gradually disappeared, leaving behind pieces of its fascinating history. Today, we’re walking through this forgotten piece of history to see what remains, explore the old buildings and surroundings, and experience this incredible place for ourselves. What was life like here over 100 years ago? What happened to the people who once called Elkmont home? And what will we discover as we explore this historic ghost town together? Grab a snack, get comfortable, and come explore with us! 👇 LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS! Would you explore a place like this at night? And what other abandoned towns or haunted locations should we visit next? ❤️ Thank you for watching and supporting The FaM! Don’t forget to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and turn on notifications so you don’t miss our next adventure! #TheFaM #OmarGoshTV #GhostTown #Elkmont #AbandonedPlaces #SmokyMountains #Exploration
