California Dreamin' (instrumental acoustic-based cover)

It's pretty cold outside today so I thought I'd mess around with my old Tascam 424 indoors and test it out with an apropos instrumental cover of this classic, "California Dreamin'", originally composed by John Phillips and Michelle Phillips and recorded by Barry McGuire but later popularized by The Mamas and The Papas (1965). Excuse any mistakes or general sloppiness. The guitars, bass, and foot tambourine were all recorded onto cassette with the Tascam portastudio but the mandolin was overdubbed after the cassette multitrack was transferred onto a DAW. The overlaid photos (both from locally and in California itself -- mostly San Francisco but also from Sausalito, Palm Springs, and Tamalpais Valley) are from my personal collection and travels. Gear used: Simon & Patrick Woodland Cedar Folk acoustic 6-string, Guild D-125-12 acoustic 12-string, Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar (recorded direct with an MXR Carbon Copy delay), Seagull S8EQ mandolin, Ibanez TMB-30 bass, foot tambourine
