I went for a night walk in Kunming, Yunnan, China, at around 10 PM. The alleys were still active, with a few street vendors selling food and people riding electric scooters. Further inside the urban village, the alleys became extremely narrow and dark. Occasionally, workers returning to their rented rooms could be seen along the way. The walk ended at a luxury brand’s storefront, where designer handbags and shoes were displayed in the window. It was a short walk from the narrow alleys to the luxury storefront. ------- Thanks for exploring with me.
