Coventry in 1987 and a short but varied look at railway action during the British Rail era. Filmed at Coventry station, this footage captures a succession of trains arriving and departing, featuring a great mixture of locomotive classes and traffic from the period. Among the highlights are Class 47s, Class 50s, a Class 58 working an MGR coal train, and even two Class 86 electric locomotives. But the real surprise is the appearance of a Class 33 on a return working towards the Southern Region.
