The plaintiff says he and the defendant were good friends, and when they were returning from a softball game, she got pulled over and was issued a DUI and arrested. He says he got her out of jail, gave her money for a lawyer, and she has yet to pay him back. The defendant says she offered to pay the plaintiff back the money he gave her, but he refused because he wanted to help her in her time of need.
