ITS CHRiSTMAS TREE TiME FOR OUR FAMILY OF 10

Finally we are getting this tree going, it was a great time going out with my family finding the perfect Christmas tree now the next step is getting the tree brought into the house and put up. This process tends to stress out my husband a little bit but I am very proud of him for keeping his cool. We had to cut almost a foot off of the tree and as you can see on the top the branches are bending over in my ceiling so my tree started out at 13 to 14 feet but ended up being I think between 10 to 12 feet I thought my tree was 12 feet tall but it sounds like we had to cut too much off so I’m right at about 10 to 11 feet from my Christmas tree. These are definitely traditions that we do every year and that we’re making memories for our kids. Growing up my mom did similar things where we go out and pick our tree out together then we would set it up as a family. She would put all the lights on and then once the lights were done we all come over play Christmas music and then put ornaments on the tree. We would watch a Christmas show and then our next tradition would be grabbing hot cocoa and coffee and driving around town and looking at lights which we still have to do. I’m super excited because my mom is coming to visit for a week and I get to just hang out with her watch Christmas shows make Christmas treats enjoy each other’s time. I get to spend one whole week with my mom and I’m super excited.
