This is one of the ghazals performed by Ejaz Qaiser Khansaheb during his last performance in Lahore, at the residence of Sur Mandal curators. About the Artist: A vocalist extraordinaire, he redefined ghazal singing and stood out with his own unique style in an era when maestros such as Mehdi Hasan and, later, Ghulam Ali were dominating the scene. Despite being a recipient of the presidential pride of performance award, he was abandoned by the mainstream media and state sponsored cultural organisations. He deserved better. I'm heartbroken and have no words to reflect my pain. Ejaz Qaiser saheb, thank you for giving so much to this miserable country through your music.
