Tech Session 7: Oracle GoldenGate on Oracle AI Database@Azure: Architecture and Integration Patterns

Oracle AI Database@Azure delivers Oracle database services inside Azure datacenters, and Oracle GoldenGate is the engine that moves data into and out of them in real time. This 30-minute session is an architectural overview for the people who have to design it before anyone provisions anything. We begin with the landscape: what Oracle AI Database@Azure is, where GoldenGate fits alongside it, and the deployment options available today. We then walk the architecture in detail — the Resource Anchor that bridges your Azure resource group to an OCI compartment, the Network Anchor that carries private connectivity from your VNet and delegated subnet, the region and availability-zone alignment rules that govern the whole design, and how responsibility divides between the Azure and OCI control planes. The final segment covers integration patterns: replication into and out of Oracle AI Database@Azure, fanning changes out to Azure-native targets for downstream analytics and AI workloads, and the sizing, high-availability, and operational considerations that shape a production design.
