In the hot August of 1885, a peat cutter on a lonely Highland moor finds a hand reaching out of the bank. The learned man from Edinburgh says the body is fifteen hundred years old. The widow in the glen says it is her husband, who vanished eleven years ago with the estate’s rents. And in the dead man’s pocket lies a letter that was never delivered. Sherlock Holmes is already lying in the peat when Dr Watson arrives. Before the week is out, the moor will give up a second dead man, and a quiet glen will learn that the ground beneath it keeps more than one secret. A complete fan-made mystery in the spirit of Arthur Conan Doyle, told by Dr Watson, read in full and slow, with no mid-roll adverts. 🎧 Perfect for listening at night, on a long drive or while you work.
