Have you ever wondered what a panic attack would have looked like thousands of years ago? Imagine a prehistoric human sitting beside a fire when suddenly their heart starts racing, their breathing changes, and their entire body prepares for danger. But there is no predator. No enemy. Nothing. Could ancient humans have experienced something similar to what we call a panic attack today? We can't ask them, and there are no medical records describing exactly what they felt. But their brains and nervous systems had many of the same basic survival mechanisms that humans have today. In this video, we explore the ancient origins of fear, the fight or flight response, and why the same survival system that once helped humans escape predators can sometimes trigger overwhelming fear in the modern world. Maybe panic isn't a modern problem at all. Maybe it's an ancient survival system... Still running inside a modern brain. #AncientHumans #PanicAttacks #HumanEvolution #PrehistoricHumans #Evolution #AncientHistory #HumanHistory #Psychology #HistoryExplained #EvolutionExplained
