Train Spotting on a Monsoon Evening at Lonavala

This time last year I posted a compilation of trains at Lonavala. Those couple of videos kickstarted my channel as they did pretty well. So here I am again, the same place, a year later. It's a perfect afternoon with some light rain going on which meant I wasn't drenched! The evening hours mean plenty of traffic and the train queues up one after the other in both directions at Lonavala. While the trains coming from Pune start their braking phase, the trains departing towards Pune display great acceleration showing the might of their locomotives, WAP7 mostly these days. But this route sees the legendary WCAM locos as well which are no slouch. Enjoy the beautiful monsoon backdrop as the trains arrive and depart from lonavala with a soothing track sound.
