Max Week 2 Board & Train | Place, Settling, Body Handling & Grooming Exposure

Max is wrapping up his second week of Board & Train at Best Paw Forward Dog Training, and this session focused on building calm behavior, impulse control, and comfort with everyday handling. During this video, Max worked on place and settling, learning how to relax and remain calm instead of always needing to be on the go. We also practiced body handling with a focus on no mouthing, helping Max learn that hands-on interactions should stay calm and appropriate. We added in a little drop it practice and grooming exposure to help Max become more comfortable with the types of handling and routines he’ll experience throughout his life.
