Good Shoes, No Plans 🎵 | Late Night Funk

Nothing booked, nobody waiting, and nowhere you have to be. Good Shoes, No Plans is a late-night groove for taking your time and enjoying your own company. Seven thirty, still on the couch Same three apps going round and round Saw my shoes by the bedroom door What am I keeping them spotless for? Black shirt hanging on the chair Run my fingers through my hair Nothing booked and nobody waiting For once, I like the way that sounds Good shoes, no plans Taking my time because I can One slow turn at the crossing light I like the way I move tonight Good shoes, no plans Nothing to prove, no one's demands Don't need somebody on my arm To take the long way after dark Warm air coming from a basement bar I can hear the bass from where we are Me and my shadow on the pavement Neither one making conversation Catch my reflection as I pass Straighten my collar in the glass Don't take a picture, keep on walking Some things can happen just for me Good shoes, no plans Taking my time because I can One slow turn at the crossing light I like the way I move tonight Good shoes, no plans Nothing to prove, no one's demands Don't need somebody on my arm To take the long way after dark I used to need a place to be A name to give, someone to meet Tonight the only thing I've got Is this good feeling in my feet A table opens by the window Maybe I'll sit down a while Let the evening make an offer I don't have to answer now Good shoes, no plans Taking my time because I can One slow turn at the crossing light I like the way I move tonight Good shoes, no plans I leave the next turn up to chance Don't need somebody on my arm To take the long way after dark #GoodShoesNoPlans #FunkPop #NightGroove #DancePop #DDungOri
