In this video, I walk through the installation of Elka Stage 2 front shocks on my 2024 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited. I also have the rear Stage 2 shock but decided not to install it during this session. For the install, I used car ramps and a jack to safely lift the Spyder and make access easier. You’ll need a 15mm wrench and 15mm socket to remove the stock shocks and secure the new Elkas. Elka Stage 2 shocks are a serious upgrade over the factory OEM shocks: They are custom-built for your weight and riding style when you order. They feature rebound and preload adjustability, giving you more control and comfort on the road. Unlike stock shocks, these can be fine-tuned to match your preferred ride — whether you ride solo, 2-up, or take on more aggressive cornering. I upgraded because I wanted a planted, stable feel, especially when riding 2-up and hitting the twisties. Stock shocks don’t offer adjustability, which limits comfort and performance. 👉 This is strictly the installation video — stay tuned for a ride review later, where I’ll share how the Spyder feels with the new suspension upgrade. If you’re thinking about upgrading your Spyder suspension, this is a great place to start!
