Old School Runescape's Controversial New Skill

For the first time in 12 years (or 19, depending on how you count it) my favorite MMORPG OSRS is receiving a new skill - Sailing! Alpha test worlds are now live so players can get a hands on look at the basic features and ideas behind the new skill. Back in the day we used to get new skills pretty much annually, but the community has been pretty resistant to the idea of a new skill for Old School Runescape for years now. I'm very interested to hear the community's opinion on the Sailing skill so let me know in the comments. Just know that if you disagree with me you're wrong.
