The Hot Five Jazzmakers (all 7 of 'em on this occasion!) celebrated the 23rd year of Saturday matinees at their C'est what?" residency on February 11th last. On stage were Jamie Macpherson- banjo; Colin Bray - bass; Janet Shaw - reeds; Andrej Saradin - trumpet; Reide Kaiser - piano; Brian Towers - trombone; Gary Scriven - drums and washboard. Rainer Hunck sat in on banjo on this track, which is sung by Brian Towers and dedicated to the memory of Malcolm Higgins, who passed away recently.
