What if half of the Swiss rooftops produce electricity? Switzerland has a very large renewable energy potential. EPFL researchers analyze the solar energy potential in Switzerland. Their results show that more than half of the 9.6 million roofs are available for the installation of photovoltaic panels. This would meet more than 40% of the annual electrical demand.
