I AM SOMEBODY Royal Soul Records Official Full Album

I AM SOMEBODY™ — 5G Boyz & New Pearl Girls Presented by Royal Soul Records™ (RSR) REAL ISSUES • REAL STORIES • REAL TRANSFORMATION I AM SOMEBODY™ introduces a different expression of hip-hop from Royal Soul Records™—music that isn't afraid to confront the real issues affecting young people, but refuses to leave them trapped in those issues. This seven-song transformational music experience addresses identity, fatherlessness, poverty, neighborhood violence, trauma, insecurity, judgment, consent and date rape, sexual pressure, peer pressure, relationships, personal standards, purpose and destiny. The stories are real. The struggles are real. But the destination is transformation. The album begins with a father reminding his daughter that her surroundings and circumstances do not determine her worth: “I AM SOMEBODY.” From there, 5G Boyz and New Pearl Girls take listeners through stories of young men and women learning that what happened to them does not have to determine what happens through them. Your future has value. You don't have to trade your destiny to be accepted. You don't have to become your trauma. You don't have to repeat the mistakes of your environment. And you don't have to prove that you belong. You already belong. Know who you are. Know whose you are. Protect what God placed inside you.
