Join me for my very first Pelotonia! This isn't just a ride; it’s a powerful community movement that has raised nearly $330 million for cancer research at The James since 2009. In this video, I share why I finally decided to jump in this year and my experience riding as a SAG (Support and Gear) volunteer with Outdoor Pursuits. I took on the 23-mile route from downtown Columbus to New Albany, helping fellow cyclists with mechanical issues and soaking up the incredible energy from the riders and the crowds. This ride is personal for me. As a colon cancer survivor of nearly 10 years, I know firsthand the importance of research and early detection.
