Entering a new phase since 2025, we boldly expanded beyond our traditional "Japanese aesthetics × Rock" framework to fully embrace a modern "HIP-HOP style."  In 2026, our new vocalist, MAKO, joined the project. She brings new light to our musicality by brilliantly mastering the rhythm and groove of hip-hop alongside our traditional rock repertoire. Visually, we have also shifted from symbolic traditional Japanese clothing to modern street fashion, always staying ahead of the times. WA-ROCK expresses two distinct musical styles: ・「和六区 (Wa-Rock)」: Mystical, dramatic, and deeply spiritual Japanese rock. ・「wa-rock」: Modern HIP-HOP with sweet, romantic melodies and heartfelt lyrics. ［History of Lead Vocalists］ Our history is woven with unique vocalists from various eras, incorporating diverse cultures and sensibilities to continue evolving. ・1st Gen : Garyu (Roots: Taiwan × Japan) ・2nd Gen : Ruy ・3rd Gen : Mikage / Wakana ・4th Gen : U-ju (Roots: India × Japan) ・5th Gen : Rina ・6th Gen : Yoshin (Roots: India) ・7th Gen : MAKO (Joined April 2026) — Our first-ever vocalist born and raised in Nara, inheriting the true soul of "Wa" (tradition) to sing our new groove. ［🌸 Special Collaboration Opportunities! 🌸］ 💓 Does anyone want to sing with us? 💓 We are looking for vocalists/singers from any country! 💓 Would you like to make a music video with us? ※ Please note: This is an unpaid collaboration project as a creative challenge.
