Sold Sold Sold! Have a look at this beautiful 1968 AMC AMX that was built at the Kenosha, WI plant. This ’68 AMC spent its time in the United States until 2011. This rare AMX was restored in the US prior to coming into Ontario. It is powered by a 390 CI engine, 4-speed (T10) standard transmission, and 3:73 gear ratio in the AMC Model 20 rear end. The 390 has some performance upgrades like an Offenhauser dual quad intake, twin Carter 625 CFM 4BBL carbs, and a new full dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Production numbers on the internet make this beauty one of only 2112 390 CI, 4-speed AMX coupes built in 1968. Repainted in the original code 52A Scarab Gold Metallic. This beauty was restored years ago but still shows very well! The body is rust-free and paint is in exceptionally good condition. The interior is in excellent condition and free of any defects, all the glass, chrome, and trim are also in beautiful condition as well. It is equipped with power disc brake option. It retains the original AMC 14-inch Road wheels and newer BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. New shocks, spring, suspension bushings, and some other brake, steering and suspension parts were just installed for the safety.
