I started the day in Üsküdar amidst the quiet bustle of waiting for the 10:40 ferry. Once we pulled away and set out onto the waters, I watched the majestic cruise ships at Galataport near Karaköy, with smoke drifting from their stacks. Cruising onward while the Galata Tower emerged like a jewel between the cityscape, I completed the journey before the Galata Bridge with passing vessels and our glorious Turkish flag waving proudly in the sky.
