Upper Darby Township Council meets at 7pm in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the Municipal Building at 100 Garrett Road; Upper Darby, PA 19082. Those wishing to participate in Public Forum should sign in between 6:30pm and 6:55pm. Rules for Meeting Decorum Upper Darby residents and concerned persons have the opportunity to speak for 3 minutes. All speakers are prohibited from making threats, using profanity, or acting in a manner that would impede or prevent the conduct of the business of the meeting. Any person who attends the meeting and makes remarks, disrupts or otherwise impedes the orderly conduct of the meeting after receiving a verbal warning may be required to leave the meeting at the discretion of the Council President. Public Forum should not exceed 30 minutes. If a speaker chooses to ask questions, they are voluntarily giving up their time for a response. Resolution No. 33-26: Funding for the 2027 Minimum Municipal Obligation for Police, Fire and Municipal Pension Plans Introduction and Approval of Resolution No. 33-26: Funding for the 2027 Minimum Municipal Obligation(MMO). The purpose of the resolution is a statutorily mandated actuarial funding standard for pension obligations which the Township is required to calculate and pay every year for Police, Fire and Municipal Pension Plans. B. Resolution No. 31-26: Authorizing the Submission of a Grant Application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development's Municipal Assistance Program (MAP) for funding the Township's 2028 Comprehensive Plan. Introduction and approval of Resolution No. 31-26, authorizing the submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development's Municipal Assistance Program (MAP) for a grant intended to partially fund the Township's 2028 Comprehensive Plan. Motion to approve the bid of and award a contract to Fire Truck Center, LLC in the amount of $495,000 for the purchase of a Used 2011 Pierce Velocity Fire Apparatus Request of the Council award the bid to the lowest bidder and authorize the use of $495,000 in approved capital funds to purchase the recommended ladder truck.
