FIRST TIME HEARING XG “HYPNOTIZE” LIVE… I PREFER THIS TO THE ORIGINAL?! 😳🔥

BROOOOO… THE XG MUSIC VIDEO JOURNEY MIGHT BE COMPLETE, BUT WE ARE NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED!! 😭🐺🔥 After finally reacting to every XG music video, I had to decide where we go next… LIVE PERFORMANCES. 👀 And there was only ONE song I wanted to start with: HYPNOTIZE. This is actually such a full-circle moment for me because HYPNOTIZE was one of the songs in my VERY FIRST XG reaction, when I jumped into a 3-in-1 having absolutely no idea what I was about to discover. Fast-forward through this whole journey and now I'm coming back to that same song to hear XG perform it LIVE. And bro… I MIGHT PREFER THIS VERSION?! 😭🔥 I genuinely wasn't sure how HYPNOTIZE would translate into this kind of performance. One of the things I love about the record is that disco/garage-influenced groove and the ENERGY it creates, so taking away the choreography and having XG basically just stand at the microphones made me wonder whether some of that energy would disappear. IT DIDN'T. If anything, stripping everything back made me notice completely different things about the song. The melodies. The harmonies. The individual tones. The little vocal details. And obviously… THE VOCALS. 😭 JURIA AND CHISA?!?! Those two were the absolute shining stars of this performance for me. Their voices genuinely BLEW ME AWAY. But that's not taking anything away from the rest of XG either — everybody brought their own personality and flavour to the performance, and that's something I'm starting to appreciate even more now that I'm watching them without choreography being the centre of attention. Also… YOU CANNOT TELL ME THEY WEREN'T DYING TO DANCE. 😂😂 There were moments where I could literally SEE them wanting to buss out the choreography and having to contain themselves at those microphones. 😭 Overall? 10/10.
