This air tracing video is designed to support young children’s early motor development in a calm, engaging way. Children are encouraged to follow the line using big arm movements in the air, helping them practise direction, flow, and control before moving on to pencil and paper. Air tracing helps strengthen the muscles needed for handwriting, supports hand–eye coordination, and builds confidence through pressure-free movement. It is especially beneficial for preschool children and those developing early fine motor skills. How to use this video Encourage your child to stand or sit comfortably Use one arm to trace the line slowly in the air Repeat the movement as many times as needed There is no “right” or “wrong” — focus on smooth, confident movement Learning focus Gross and fine motor development Visual–motor integration Early pre-writing skills Confidence and body awareness Suitable for early years settings and home learning
