#RoyalWomen #PrincessMargaret #Dior #NormanHartnell Find out more about two dresses once worn by Princess Margaret, sister of the late Queen Elizabeth II, which are now in the collection of Fashion Museum Bath. Curators from the Fashion Museum were invited to visit Kensington Palace, where the princess lived at the time, and invited to choose dresses for their collection. The first dress featured was created in 1952 by Christian Dior. The second dress was created by designer to the Royal Family, Norman Hartnell in 1953. 00:00 Welcome to the Fashion Museum collection 00:36 Introduction to Episode 3 00:47 First dress, designed by Christian Dior 1952 01:38 The dress is made up of three parts 02:52 Second dress, designed by Norman Hartnell 1953 03:31 Close-up of the dress bodice 04:11 Look at how the lace is joined together on the dress 04:50 How the Fashion Museum acquired the dresses Fashion Museum Bath has temporarily closed before moving to a new location in the centre of Bath.
