4K Scenic Drive in Switzerland | Gersau to Obergschwend Mountain Road

Experience one of Switzerland’s beautiful mountain roads in this 4K scenic drive from Gersau to Obergschwend, high above Lake Lucerne. In this video I take my Mazda CX-30 up a narrow Swiss country road winding through forests and mountain scenery above Gersau. The climb takes around 13 minutes, followed by the drive back down, but this relatively short route manages to offer an incredible variety of landscapes — dense forest, rocky Alpine mountains, narrow roads and spectacular views over the blue waters of Lake Lucerne. There is no rush and no destination to chase here. It is simply about enjoying the road, the scenery and the experience of driving through Switzerland. For car enthusiasts, this is a chance to experience another type of great driving road: not a racetrack or an Alpine pass driven at speed, but a narrow, technical and incredibly scenic road where the surroundings are as important as the car.
