Ryan Watson + Tripp Spruill sat down with Jason Stewart, owner of THE BOX in Pearl, Mississippi — a locally owned and operated baseball facility focused on helping players of all ages train, develop, and play the game the right way AND the safe way. Jason is a man of many talents. He’s a real estate broker, involved in construction projects all over, has experience building baseball facilities, and — maybe most importantly for this conversation — he’s a baseball dad who loves the game. They talk about the world of youth baseball, the pros and cons of travel ball, player development, safety, and what we can do as parents and coaches to keep the game FUN for our kids.
