Salmon Angling on the River Mourne, County Tyrone

The #RiverMourne is a big spate river. It has a run of #springsalmon (best April to mid-May), with most #grilse and salmon arriving from June to July. Although, good fishing can still be had into October. Fishing for sea trout is best in June and July. This river does not necessarily require a #spate and some anglers would suggest it fishes better in lower water.
