A380 Grounded Again 😢 | Qatar Airways A380 in Business Class | Doha to Paris | Trip Report

Welcome everyone on board the Qatar Airways A380 on this flight in Business Class from Doha to Paris, thank you for joining! This flight was taken days prior to the Qatari and Midde Eastern airspace closures, when the aviation world here was at its peak, with an A380 filled to the brims. Overnight the situation drastically changed for all of us living and visiting in this region, to the point where Qatar Airways has once again sent many planes for long-term storage, like in the old Covid-10 days. And experience says that the A380 will be the last to return to service, if still worth it, depending on how the demand picks up. About the trip, I had bought Economy Class tickets from Sharjah to Paris via Doha and had upgraded myself with Avios as I found an incredible offer from Economy to First (I have print screens and videos of the upgrade booking), yet I was welcomed with a business class seat! After an hour of contacting the useless, as most of the time, Qatar Airways customers services, they recognized it was an error, but my upgrade would not be honored, which is sad, as I expected accountability from such a big “5 star” airline. Never mind, I am not spoiled and eventually had a great flight, with special thanks to the wonderful cabin crew on this flight. They made me forget at my anger at Qatar Airways.
