Mal wants to learn dark magic, so she can help save Ben from his curse. Maleficent tells Mal that she isn't evil enough. Audrey convinces Ben that it was actually Mal who cursed them. Ben believes that Mal was behind his curse. King Beast asks Mal for help. But Belle wants to get rid of Mal and Maleficent. Belle seeks help from Feybelle. Feybelle comes up with an elaborate plan to frame Mal. Belle asks Mal to make magical rings. Mal thinks those rings will help Ben and Audrey, but it was a trap. Mal is accused of cursing Ben and Audrey. Nobody believes that Mal was framed. Mal finds out that Ben and Audrey are actually engaged. Mal feels like she was betrayed.
