Why Freemasonry Was Founded: To Save What Survived the Flood

Join Kosmogonia and the live sessions: https://www.skool.com/kosmogonia/abou... Timothy Hogan, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, joined the students of Kosmogonia, Randall Carlson's online university, for a live question and answer session. This video is a portion of that call. Members get the full recording inside Kosmogonia. He starts with gematria, the number values of the Hebrew and Greek letters, and the codes he says were written into the Bible: "let there be light" adding up to 666, a number he connects with transmutation, not the devil; the serpent and the Messiah sharing the same value in the Garden of Eden; Enoch, Jesus, the 153 fish, and the vesica piscis behind them. A student preparing an education for his lodge asks about the Noachite tradition. Tim explains why he believes the earliest Masonic degrees were built around Noah and his ark before Solomon's Temple, how the name Hiram becomes Hermes in Greek, and why he sees Freemasonry as a keeper of the knowledge that survived the Flood. From there he follows the thread through alchemy and the Grail, the alchemical carvings on Notre Dame, the Black Madonnas in the cathedral crypts, the Templars in Portugal and Tomar, Columbus and the Templar cross, and the Maya. He closes with the initiation experience that shaped his own work.
