Building on Workday Extend | Sreenivas Raman - Developer MVP Fireside Chat (Bengaluru)

Honored to have joined as a Workday Developer MVP for a fireside chat at Workday Developer Days Bengaluru, hosted at Amazon. In this session, I share my Workday Extend journey, how I got started on the platform, the path that led me to Workday, and the lessons learned along the way. I also dig into why the momentum behind Workday's Open Developer Program is so exciting for anyone building on the platform, and share some advice for developers just getting started. As a Bengaluru native, standing on a stage in the city where my own journey began made this a genuine full-circle moment, and I'm grateful to have shared it with such an enthusiastic developer community. A heartfelt thank you to the Workday Developer Relations team and everyone who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and made the event so engaging. Looking forward to seeing this community continue to grow. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 Introduction 01:21 How I got started with the Workday Platform 03:09 Finding my way to Workday 06:43 My professional journey and career 09:50 Building on Workday: the Open Developer Program 13:32 Advice for new developers 16:08 Wrap-up 🔗 Connect with me LinkedIn:   / sreenivas-raman   Website: https://sreenivasraman.com/ #WorkdayDevelopers #DeveloperDays #WorkdayExtend #DeveloperMVP #DeveloperCommunity #Bengaluru #OpenDeveloperProgram
