In the previous video, I went out into the streets and asked Hungarians about their weekend plans and what they were planning to do during the summer. Those conversations were full of natural Hungarian expressions that you’ll hear all the time in everyday speech. In this episode, we take a closer look at some of them. First, you’ll hear each expression in the original street interview, then I’ll explain what it means, when Hungarians use it, and give you some more examples. What do expressions like “belefér”, “így adódott”, “úgy volt, hogy” and “ha már így alakult” actually mean? How do Hungarians use “most már”? And why do you hear the little word “hát” so often in conversations? If you want to understand everyday spoken Hungarian better and add more natural expressions to your vocabulary, this episode is for you.
