The VinFast Stadium (currently listed on Wikipedia under its former name, the Hùng Vương Stadium) is a massive, multi-purpose stadium under construction at the southern gateway of Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally broken ground on December 19, 2025, as the Lạc Việt and later Trống Đồng Stadium, developer Vingroup officially renamed the project to VinFast Stadium on July 30, 2026, aligning the landmark with their global electric vehicle brand.When completed, it is planned to have a seating capacity of 135,000, making it the largest stadium by capacity in the world—surpassing India's Narendra Modi Stadium. The stadium under construction south of Hanoi is Hùng Vương Stadium (originally known as Trống Đồng Stadium). Designed to hold 135,000 spectators, it is set to become the largest association football stadium in the world by capacity. In this video series, I'll show you the construction progress.
