Take to the skies with the DJI Mavic 3 for a spectacular aerial journey from Spittal Beach along the Northumberland coast towards the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Our flight begins above the sweeping sands of Spittal Beach before heading towards Berwick Harbour, where the distinctive Berwick Lighthouse stands at the end of the pier overlooking the North Sea. From here, we turn inland and follow the River Tweed, revealing one of the most impressive views in the area — Berwick's famous three bridges. First comes the historic Berwick Bridge, or Old Bridge, a magnificent 17th-century stone crossing built between 1611 and 1624. Alongside it stands the Royal Tweed Bridge, opened in 1928 and an important example of early reinforced-concrete bridge engineering. Towering above them is the spectacular Royal Border Bridge, the 28-arch railway viaduct designed by Robert Stephenson and completed in the mid-19th century. The flight then returns towards Spittal Point, where a tall brick chimney creates a striking landmark on the skyline. This solitary industrial relic is all that remains of the former chemical works that once occupied the Point, giving this beautiful coastal location a fascinating industrial history. From beaches and lighthouse to river, bridges, historic architecture and industrial heritage, this aerial journey captures Berwick-upon-Tweed from a completely different perspective. Sit back, turn up the volume and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the River Tweed and the Northumberland coast from above. Music: 'A Long Way' by SergePavkinMusic
