What kind of tiny house can a dude build using only a chainsaw and chainsaw mill? What started out to be a deer blind in the last video turned out to be a full-on tiny wilderness cabin on stilts. And like everything at The Worm the build was so cheap it was virtually free.    • Nearly Free Deer Cabin Build. ep17   As with all these Northern Michigan builds, no lumber was purchased. The boards were made (slowly) with a chainsaw mill from trees on the property where one crazed dude has lived in a tent since the beginning of the year. This time the Castle gets windows, shelves, awnings, a bunk and even recycled carpet. Is a project this big, built with a chainsaw still considered bush craft? Who knows... Because I’ve gotten so many questions about the gear that I use on the channel, here are some of the most important pieces I use every day: My Favorite Piece of Gear- Chainsaw Helmet https://amzn.to/3uuW5xB Granberg Chainsaw Mill https://amzn.to/3cdRXvn How I Keep the Mosquitoes Away! https://amzn.to/3frenvh Big, Black Log-Peeling Knife - Becker BK9 https://amzn.to/3oZIeOH The Trailer I Use Behind My 4 Wheeler- Yutrax https://amzn.to/3fvO8DK Bug Net Rooms I Use https://amzn.to/3uwOK0l Heaters in My Tent and the Deer Castle https://amzn.to/3frQ7Jh Thank you all so much for supporting this crazy endeavor! Without you folks donating to Surviving Ringworm, I wouldn't be able to even consider staying out here in the wilderness a second year making videos. You seriously blow my mind!   / survivingringworm   (As a thank-you for donating $5 or more a month through Patreon, I will carve your name into the picnic table and show it in an upcoming episode.)
