🚀 From Raw Data to Business Insights | My Latest Project Presentation I’m excited to share my latest Consumer Goods Analytics project presentation — Codebasics Resume Project Challenge #4 📊For this challenge, I stepped into the role of a Data Analyst at AtliQ Hardwares, where the objective was simple: turn business questions into meaningful, data-driven answers. 🎯 The Business Challenge AtliQ Hardwares needed faster and smarter insights to support decision-making in a highly competitive consumer electronics market. 💼 My Mission Analyze and answer 10 ad-hoc business requests using SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint, transforming raw business data into actionable insights. 🔎 Some Key Discoveries 📈 Product diversity increased significantly — 334 unique products in 2021 vs. 245 in 2020. 💻 The Notebook segment led the portfolio with 129 products. 🚀 The Accessories segment added 34 products, highlighting an opportunity for further growth. 🏷️ Flipkart recorded the highest average pre-invoice discount at 30.83%, indicating an aggressive pricing strategy. 📅 Monthly sales analysis revealed important seasonal patterns and performance fluctuations. 🛒 The Retailer channel contributed 73.22% of gross sales, making it a critical channel for the business. 💡 Business Recommendations • Expand product variety based on market demand. • Explore further growth opportunities in the Accessories segment. • Use seasonal sales patterns to improve forecasting and planning. • Strengthen and optimize the Retailer channel. • Monitor discount strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability. 📊 What I Learned This project strengthened my ability to go beyond writing queries — understanding the business question, analyzing the data, finding the story, and communicating insights that can support better decisions. 🎥 I’ve also created a video presentation to walk through the project, analysis, insights, and recommendations.
