Lees-McRae students tour renovated Historic Commons residence hall

Students got their first look at the new and improved Tennessee Hall through a guided tour led by Student Affairs staff. The Historic Commons renovation started in 2022 and both residence halls, Tennessee and Virginia, will begin housing students Fall 2024. The tour showed students the ground floor common area, featuring a community kitchen, a double room, a single room, and a community bathroom. Notably, each bedroom in the Historic Commons will have its own Wi-Fi hub and temperature control. The two residence halls will be able to house 106 students between them.
