We Took a BARGE to the Beach! 🚙⛴️ | Teewah Beach 4WD Adventure #beach #4wdadventures #barge 🚙⛴️🏖️ *TODAY WE'RE TAKING THE CAR… ON A BOAT… TO DRIVE ON A BEACH!* Welcome back to another *Wonder Down Under Travel* adventure! Today we're heading across the river on the *Noosa North Shore barge* before taking the 4WD onto *Teewah Beach* for a day of beach driving, exploring and relaxing. And I have to admit… There's something VERY strange about sitting in your car while you're floating across the water. 😂 The kids had one very important question: *“Why don't they just build a bridge?”* 🤣 Once we made it across, it was time to hit the sand! Our first stop was the spectacular **Red Canyon**, with its incredible red, orange and yellow sand formations. ❤️🧡💛 Then we found ourselves a quiet section of beach and set up camp for the day. And when I say setup… ⛱️ Sun shelter 🌭 Sausage sizzle 🔥 Portable BBQ 🛋️ Inflatable Kmart couch 🏖️ Sandcastles 🌊 Swimming ☀️ And plenty of relaxing! Basically, we brought the lounge room to the beach. 😂 We were incredibly lucky to have this section of beach almost completely to ourselves while everyone else seemed to continue further along towards Double Island Point. It really did feel like our own little slice of paradise. 🏝️ Of course, beach driving also means keeping an eye on the tides. You definitely DON'T want to discover the hard way what happens when the ocean comes in and your 4WD is still sitting on the beach! 😳🌊 After swimming, building sandcastles, chasing waves and enjoying our sausage sizzle, it was eventually time to pack everything back into the car and head for the barge.
