Give Me 5 Minutes to Play You the Most Beautiful Piece I Know

Five minutes, three variations, and a piece I simply wanted to share with you. On a grey autumn morning, I took Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck’s “Von der Fortuna werd ich getrieben” from my bookshelf and sat down at the clavichord. There is a nostalgia and melancholy in this music that reaches something very deep in me. To my ears, it comes close to musical perfection. Today, I’d like to let the music speak for itself. Take a few minutes and listen with me. Would you enjoy more short videos like this, where I simply share a piece I love? Let me know in the comments. Music: Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck — Von der Fortuna werd ich getrieben Performed by Wim Winters, clavichord. *** Instant access to our Recordings on Bandcamp: https://authenticsound.bandcamp.com/ Check out our CD/Vinyl recordings here: ▶https://www.authenticsound.org/record... -- 🙋Join our Patreon community and help us create more content▶  / authenticsound   -- 📩Stay informed!
