Bendigo's Alexandra Fountain. Where did the water come from?

Bendigo's magnificent Alexandra Fountain was opened in 1881 and dedicated to Alexandra Princess of Wales. Designed by famous local architect William Vahland. But how did they bring water to it in one of the driest cities in Victoria. This video looks at the Fountain, the connected Cascade and Vahland drinking fountain.
