Eterna Forest – Pokémon Legends: Arceus · Diamond & Pearl | Flute & Piano cover

Eterna Forest is a beautiful piece composed by Hitomi Sato for Pokémon Diamond / Pearl that made a comeback for Pokémon Legends: Arceus as a more relaxing and slowed down arrangement~ I fell in love with it once I heard it in the Obsidian Fiedlands forest for the first time, so I knew I wanted to play it! I transcribed the flute and piano parts from the original Diamond & Pearl in the new Arceus version and invited @stahrmie to play the flute part, who obviously did an incredible job and made this sound so heavnly and ethereal, I adore collabing with him!! 🥺💙 I might look like a simple piece but it's actually quite tricky to play! The rhythms are quite irregular and confusing to play so I had to be very precise, mastering my piano part was definitely a challenge ~ The B section at 0:55 was initially super hard to play on the piano since there were plenty of impossible high jumps with no time to prepare them, eventually I decided to sacrifice a few notes just to make it more playable hehe @stahrmie mixed the audio and edited the video, he just knows how to do everything!! 💙 I can say I'm super happy and satisfied with the final result (which is something I rarely think about my covers 🤡), I hope you enjoy it too! 🎧 You can now stream this cover (included in the "POKÉMON: Piano League, Vol. 3" album) in Spotify, Apple Music and other digital stores!: https://fanlink.to/Pokemon3 🎼 You can also download my flute + piano arrangement here!
