The Problem of Bolliger and Mabillard - Swiss manufacturer started in 1989 as former employees of Giovanola, they developed chair lifts and machinery at the time. They were asked by Six Flags Great America to build a new roller coaster after they built new trains for a former bobsled attraction. The debut of Iron Wolf in 1990 kickstarted their career. They also developed the first inverted coaster to smoothly perform inversions under the track. They have had much innovation over the years with things like the dive coaster, floorless coaster, flying coaster. But we have come to a time where the innovation has died, the roller coasters are rough and uncomfortable and B&M can no longer keep up.
