The Decision Followed — Hallowed Thunder | Official Music Video

A dark alternative art-rock song moving from restoration and human grief into the raising of Lazarus — and the decision that follows. The story begins with bodies restored: a man whose hand opens again, a woman bent for eighteen years standing upright. It then turns toward Bethany, where Martha and Mary confront Jesus over the death of their brother, Lazarus is called from the tomb, and witnesses carry what they have seen to those in power. Life returns. The danger gathers. The lyrics draw principally from the canonical Gospel accounts of the man with the withered hand (Mark 3:1–6), the woman bent for eighteen years (Luke 13:10–17), and the raising of Lazarus and subsequent council decision (John 11), with dramatic compression and interpretive detail.
