#turkishdelight #lokum #turkishsweet 1 cup = 250ml FOR THE SYRUP: 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup water 1 teaspoon lemon juice FOR THE PASTE: 1/2 cup corn starch 1 1/2 cups water 1/2 teaspoon cream or tartar ( i substituted with 1 tsp vinegar) 1 tablespoons rose water 1/2 teaspoon rose essence red food colour FOR THE COATING: 1/2 cup icing sugar 1/4 corn starch Note: 1. The mixture should form a very thick lump when cooked. 3. The mixture should look lightly golden before adding the food colour to it.
