A WAY TO AGI: WUJI’s Seven-Year Journey

WUJI's answer is that the remaining distance is roughly the width of a human hand — and that building one is not optional on the way there. This film follows that seven-year path: from motors to dexterous hands, from a worn-down factory floor in Shanghai to the show floor at ICRA in Vienna. There was no established playbook, and no one who could confirm the direction was right. After a long run of dead ends and one hard pivot, the hand that had existed only as an idea finally moved in the real world. It is not a story about success. The WUJI in this film is still solving problems, still under pressure from technology, product and time.
