I love guitar freestyle. When you have no idea what you're going to play, you are just as surprised as the audience. Sometimes it can feel scary. Often, you may think, "Oh no, I have no idea what I'm going to play," or "What if I've forgotten how to play guitar?" But coming up with music in the moment feels like magic, or like taking part in something bigger. I open myself to the experience, and then I become a part of that experience. Maybe it's about being a portal that lets the force of music flow through. I hope it can be a prayer to the Creator of the Universe, who hopefully loves us. So by now you've obviously understood, but I'm an anxious person, so I often repeat myself. Here we go. This recording was created entirely through improvisation. Nothing was planned beforehand, and I had no idea what I was going to play until I pressed record. Isn't that how our lives, or even the universe itself, develop? We control so little. We know so little. I use the NUX MG-30 looper and drum machine. Sometimes I start with a drum beat, sometimes with a riff. Then I may loop the riff and improvise over it, or if I don't create a loop, I can improvise rhythm guitar instead. To be honest, I never know. My Gear: Harley Benton SC-550 II Black Cherry FlameNUX MG-30 (all amp tones, effects, looper and drum machine) You can find my tracks on SoundCloud under Marcin-Man. Be careful, though. If you ever end up there, you'll find such randomness that for a moment you may feel like you've ended up in a world where nothing makes sense. Wait. Maybe we are living in a world where nothing makes sense?
