Disclaimer: English is not my native language so I have an accent and unfortunately not the British accent that would be required for this Comic. So, if you find my accent distracting already, even though I hope it will get better over time, I think you will unfortunately not be satisfied by this AudioComic, sorry. 2. Disclaimer: This is my first AudioComic read, and I am very bad at changing my voice to fit different characters right now so instead of doing a bad job that would be distracting I have, for now, decided to read every character with my natural voice with only different pitch when possible and focus my energy on all other aspects. 3. Disclaimer: Like I already said, I am not that good at reading. This manifests in various ways, one of them being that I OFTEN PARAPHRASE (not read exactly what has been written). Some of this Paraphrasing (if it is not too severe) will still be in the final product. AudioComic Background --- After watching the first Season of Heartstopper I wanted to know how the story continued and therefore started the WebComics. I soon realized I liked these at least as much as the series itself (if not even more) and wanted to start from the beginning right after reaching the current ending… … BUT I am not that good at reading which is why I normally hear AudioBooks instead of reading the book. Unfortunately, there usually is no AudioBook equivalent for Comics, so I read the Comic again. This repeated several times over the year until I finally decided that I would try and make a Video-Version of the comic for myself (at least then I would only have to read the comic once). About halfway through Chapter 1, I realised how much work that would be so I said to myself: “Even if this is a very amateur attempt at doing something like an AudioComic, I still think there might be somebody in a similar situation like me out there that would benefit from this” and I made the decision to upload it to YouTube once it was done. I know I am not a good reader (especially since English is not even my native language) and I know that many other aspects are also not of the highest quality (the recording-quality with my cheap microphone for example) but since I already did this work for myself, maybe there is somebody else out there that will find this project helpful. Note from Creator ---------- As I already said this is an experiment for me, one that I hope will improve both my English and my Reading-Problem. Because of that I would really appreciate some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to know where improvement is needed most. Every single Page takes an enormous amount of time (reading, adding sounds and audio-effects, creating completely new pages to fit Video-Format, animating pages, …), so I unfortunately cannot promise when I will upload the next chapter OR EVEN if the next chapter will ever come, since in the end, this is still only one of my many private projects.
