10 CHEAP Phones Still Getting Updates in 2031!

Every phone has an expiration date — the month it stops getting updates. The company that sold it to you already knows that date. Most buyers never check it. In this video I count down 10 cheap phones, from $200 to $700, that are all still promised updates in 2031 or later. For each one I divide the price by the years of promised support, so you can see what the phone really costs you every year. On the list: the iPhone 17e, CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing Phone 4a Pro, Galaxy S26 FE, Galaxy A57, Galaxy A27, Pixel 9a, Galaxy A37, Galaxy A17 5G and the Pixel 10a. You'll see which $200 phone works out to just $33 a year, why Apple's written promise is shorter than you think, which phones only get three years of Android upgrades, and which $500 phone is covered all the way to 2033. Every pick comes with an honest catch and a clear "here's what you do." If you want to buy a phone once and keep it for years, start here.
